User-friendly web infrastructure

The Austrian Ministry of Defence is responsible for shaping and implementing Austria's defence policy, ensuring the safety of the country and its citizens. The ministry directs the Austrian armed forces, coordinates military training and carries out advances in defence technology. It also plays a key role in international peacekeeping missions and in strengthening regional security cooperation.

As part of our project, we developed an external website and an intranet platform for the Austrian Ministry of Defence, both equipped with custom themes and configurable fragments. These solutions are closely aligned with the core functionalities of the Liferay platform, with particular attention paid to fine-tuning the search function, thereby ensuring that the end product is both easy to use and visually appealing.

Throughout the project, our primary goal was to make both the external website and the intranet platform user-friendly and to give them a distinctive visual appearance. To this end, using Liferay's built-in features, we created custom themes and fragments that fully meet the specific needs of the Austrian Ministry of Defence. By optimising the search engine, we not only improved the user experience but also delivered an aesthetically attractive interface.

Our collaboration with the Austrian Ministry of Defence resulted in a modern, easy-to-manage and aesthetically outstanding web and intranet environment. Thanks to the custom themes and fragments, the ministry's staff are able to manage both external and internal communications efficiently.

Our aim was to respond to the specific challenges of the public sector and support the Austrian Ministry of Defence with state-of-the-art digital solutions, thereby promoting its digitalisation and increasing its operational efficiency.
