Meier Tobler (formerly Tobler Haustechnik) is a Swiss company operating in the field of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) technologies. The company's goal is to support its customers with innovative solutions in optimising the technical systems of buildings. In 2017, in collaboration with the Swiss Origammi team, we built an extremely complex B2B platform for Meier Tobler on the Ibexa DXP platform. Our aim was to modernise the platform and meet Meier Tobler's evolving needs in the digital environment.

Meier Tobler envisioned a multifunctional B2B platform capable of managing complex content and structures, as well as integrating numerous external systems such as document libraries and product information management (PIM) systems. The goal of the project was to create a platform that not only improves the user experience and makes access to information seamless, but also increases the efficiency of product data management.

The solution born out of the collaboration between the Webtown and Origammi teams focused on three main elements:

  1. Visualising a complex content structure: The key to the project was transforming complex content and page structures into an intuitive and user-friendly interface that facilitates efficient navigation and the quick retrieval of information.

  2. Seamless integration with document libraries: Integration with document libraries made it easier for users to access relevant documents, thereby further improving the user experience.

  3. Integration of external systems and strategic reconfiguration of communication channels: The introduction of the product information management system and the communication middleware made it possible to streamline data flows and support complex business processes.

​​​​​The B2B platform created as a result of the collaboration is not only an embodiment of Meier Tobler's innovation ambitions, but also offered the company strategic advantages, thereby paving its way towards future success. By using the Ibexa DXP platform, Meier Tobler moved to the forefront of digital transformation, thus strengthening its market position.
