KSGAAL (King Salman Academy for Arabic Language) is an innovative organisation dedicated to teaching and promoting the Arabic language and to advancing related academic research. Using the latest technological advances, including artificial intelligence, the Academy launches a wide range of initiatives - scholarships, competitions and hackathons - primarily aimed at engaging younger generations. Their goal is to enhance the knowledge and appreciation of Arabic culture and language on a global scale.
The solution:
The joint project of Webtown and Crafton resulted in a solution built on the Liferay platform. With Liferay, bilingual (Arabic and English) content management is achieved with ease, as the platform is able to handle Arabic-language texts and logos and provides a mirrored layout in line with the characteristics of the Arabic language. In designing the site, we placed the emphasis on a clean and easily navigable interface, ensuring a user-friendly experience on every device thanks to its responsiveness.
Results:
At the close of the project, the KSGAAL website was given a new look, and the Academy's staff can now confidently manage the updating and expansion of content. This development represents a key step in the Academy's digital strategy, paving the way towards further joint projects. With the newly built platform, the Academy can take on the challenge of promoting the Arabic language and culture worldwide even more effectively.
