The COVID-19 pandemic drew enormous attention to the EESZT portal and its supporting systems, bringing with it numerous challenges, as it became necessary to functionally meet needs that had not existed before. This is how the vaccination appointment booking tool and the vaccination administration interface were created — complex services that continuously adapted to the epidemiological situation and to evolving requirements.
Another significant development is the data reporting tool running on the EESZT portals, which enabled hospitals to make data on their various resources available on a daily basis, thereby supporting the work of the Operational Task Force. The equipment ordering system was likewise created to meet needs arising from the pandemic situation, providing an interface for institutions' protective equipment procurement processes.
