The Office of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights is no stranger to the Liferay system. In 2021 they turned to the Webtown team on several occasions, as they needed not only a portal upgrade but also accessibility work, the development of custom portlets as well as system integration.
Numerous developments were needed in order to comply with the WCAG guidelines. These included, among other things, setting an appropriate contrast ratio for visually impaired users and enabling keyboard control.
System integration was especially necessary because of the connection to the case management system and the Client Gateway (Ügyfélkapu) service.
