The COVID-19 pandemic brought significant attention to the EESZT portal and its supporting systems, creating major challenges as new requirements emerged that had never existed before. This led to the development of the vaccination appointment scheduling system and the vaccination administration interface — complex services designed to continuously adapt to the evolving public health situation and changing needs.
Another key development was the data reporting module integrated into the EESZT portals, enabling hospitals to make data related to their available resources accessible on a daily basis, supporting the work of the Operational Staff. The equipment ordering system was also developed in response to pandemic-driven requirements, providing healthcare institutions with a dedicated interface for managing the procurement of protective equipment.
